Tic-tac-toe is a great game for practicing the prepositions you use with verbs, adjectives and nouns. The student chooses a square and then he has to say what preposition he can use with that word (verb, adjective or noun). If he says it right he can put a nought or a cross (whatever he has chosen) on the square. If he says it wrong, the other student marks it.
