create an alien

I use this sheet as a planner for a writing lesson for six year olds. Pictures of aliens are shown and discussed and a word bank of features and characteristics is created on the board. The pupils use this to complete the sheet. They then use the sheet as a guide to write a description of their alien. Finally they draw the alien to show comprehension of what they have written.
