Animal report assessment rubric
This was used as the final writing assessment for a unit on animals in a 2nd grade ESOL class. We had covered the verbs "is/are, have, eat, like, live" in the simple present tense, vocabulary related to habitats and life cycles, and plural -s. This was the culminating activity. I printed pictures of the one animal they had been studying so they could glue it on the sheet. The rubric helps you grade it fairly. I hope you can use it!
