First Impressions
This handout focuses on the language surrounding first impressions. Initially, students are asked to guess about the personality of the people in the pictures. After that, they study the modals must, might, may, canīt to make deductions about a personīs personality. In the activate stage of the lesson, students are asked to describe their first impressions of each other and of the teacher.
