Halloween Comparative and Superlative Adjectives Bookmarks (featuring a list of adjectives that can be used for Halloween writing activities)
Instructions:
Give your students these bookmarks on Halloween or slightly before October 31st. Have them write some sentences or stories using some of the comparative and superlative adjectives found on these bookmarks. See what other adjectives they can come up with. You can easily make up the second blank bookmark to show scary Halloween adjectives that are irregular and do not end in –er or –est.
You may also delete the words and use the coffins as a template or border for Halloween recipes or poems.
I have included a black and white version on page 2 and special mini-coffins on page 3. Use the mini-coffins for tags, bookmarks and more. Children can also draw bodies in the coffins for a creepy art project.
Please note that I drew the coffins, the spiders and the candles.
Have a great Halloween!
P.S.
I tried several different ways to make the text go upside down in the second bookmark but it didn´t work. Sorry about that. If someone can help me figure it out I would really appreciate it.
