IRREGULAR VERBS STUDY CARDS SET 1- Fully EDITABLE!
84 CARDS TO PRINT & CUT + IDEAS ON HOW TO USE THEM TO HELP Ss MEORIZE THEM & LEARN THEIR SPELLING. IDEAS to work in small groups: 1)Use cards for pronunciation/spelling practice. Give each group 10 cards face down. Student 1 takes a card and shows it to the rest. The others have to say the pronunciation. Then Student 2 does the same, and so one. 2)S1 takes a card without showing it to the rest and tells the meaning of the verb in his/her native language. The others have to write the verb in English. Ss would be reviewing the meaning and spelling of the verbs. The rest of the Ss in the group would follow the same procedure. 3) With sets 2 (SIMPLE PAST) and 3 (PAST PARTICIPLE)of these cards, Ss could play CONCENTRATION game, which is a fun and good way to help Ss memorize the 3 forms of the verbs. All of these verbs go with a list you can find in my materials.
