Past Continuous- Miming Game
This is a miming game. It is better that students play it in small groups ( 4 each).
1. Cut the cards from the grid.
2. Each student gets a card from the grid, it is top secret. A student must mime what it says in the card, the first student to guess the sentence wins and gets a point (there should be a secretary in each group). The student who gets more points in the group can win a prize.
2. Once the groups run out of cards, they should new ones.
3. Teacher goes to all the groups to see whether they need help with vocabulary or ideas for miming.
4. Once students have mimed all the cards, they are asked to write a sentence they remember from the cards they mimed.
5. Then, each student reads half the sentence to the class, so that someone can provide the rest of that sentence.
