REVISION GAME TEMPLATE
This is a template for a revision board game. It can be adapted to any age group and used in any way (for the revision of vocabulary, grammar, reading etc. - or ALL). I have been using this game in my classes for revision A LOT OF TIMES and students adore this game. Why? Well, because I use Monopoly money as a reward for answering questions correctly. They become really competitive and even pupils with less knowledge want to answer the given question correctly.
How does it all work?
Students work in pairs. They move across the board by using a dice. Whenever they stand on a special space (a smiley face and a dollar space) they have to pull a question out of a question box and decide on the right answer together. If they answer correctly they are awarded according to the space they stand on (read instructions further for space explanations). If they answer incorrectly, they have to give one of their highest bills back to the teacher. The teacher sets the time when game ends and after that time the winner team is the one having the largest amount of money.
