The Spanish Tavern (European Pudding / LŽauberge espagnole)
This worksheet is based on the movie LŽAuberge Espagnole. It is about the interview of the main protgonist by his future flatmate. I used it twice, in two different classes. It can be used when dealing with flat sharing and personality, but also, when dealing with exchange programs, gap years, you name it... It worked well because the different protagonists speak different European languages and yet they get to communicate in English. With this scene, you wonŽt have to explain to your students why English is soooooo important! ;)
