Design a Tattoo Worksheet
This worksheet and discussion worked well with my 3rd grade high school Korean students. I have a PowerPoint file to go through before they actually do the worksheet and present their information at the end, but the file size is too big to upload on this site.
Basically the PowerPoint has images of people with tattoos and body piercings, and I talk briefly about body art in the West, basic info about getting tattoos done and safe ways to do body piercings. Then I ask the students on a slide or two their opinions about body art, as well as whether or not body art is popular in their home country, who usually gets tattoos, etc.
Again, then they work on the handout first designing then writing about the tattoo. The presentation is last where they read their information aloud.
