Annabel Lee Packet - Part 2
**This is Part 2 of 2**
This is an all inclusive, intermediate ESL level, classic literature packet on Edgar Allen Poe´s "Annabel Lee". It is designed to follow an introduction to Edgar Allen Poe´s life and writing style.
The packet includes the following:
-introduction of new vocabulary
-dictionary and translator practice
-main idea exercise
-application of new vocabulary
-pre-reading exercise
-inferencing
-building background knowledge of Edgar Allen Poe as a famous American author
-writing of an informal letter
Via this packet, my intermediate high school ESL students were able to successfully access this moving poem. It is an awesome part of an October lesson series or anytime!
