Airbrushed Photos
This is a lesson I borrowed and adapted to suit my Intermediate class. It is a listening/ speaking lesson. WARM UP: Ss look through magazines, choose a woman that they think is beautiful and show it to the class. T asks Ss if they thinks the photos are touched-up or airbrushed. LESSON: Ss complete the vocabulary task. T reads sentences from the script that have the vocabulary (highlighted in script) and Ss listen and match the vocab. Ss listen to the full report and complete the first activity. Ss listen again for the second activity. In groups, Ss brainstorm arguments for/ against the issue.
