Cupcakes recipe
The teacher or the language assistant brings along all the necessary things to play pretend they are doing the recipe for good. The pupils take down notes and when it comes to the icing, the teacher produces real cupcakes and prepares the icing in front of the class and puts the icing on each cupcake. The pupils receive a sweat that the put on the icing before eating their cake. I ask them to do the recipe at home, to decorate their cupcakes and to take photos of the decorations which I put on the school blog.
They really enjoy that activity!
