Getting around the London Tube !
This is intended to use together with a map of te London underrground, which you can easily download from the Internet - but if you can get an English friend to send you some free ones from London, it will be more realistic !
The aim is to make students find their own way around the map, helping them build confidence in finding information from real-life documents, as well as giving them some basic knowledge about the underground and related words.
This is best done as a challenge, with teams competing to fill in the worksheet faster.
I used this before a planned trip to London, but it can be used anytime.
