English worksheet: Heroes Heroes

I split this lesson into 2 class periods. Students easily could make a list of characteristics of a hero, but had a hard time narrowing down the list to 5. Students enjoyed the picture-hero part - deciding who was a hero vs. a role model. Then I made the students decide on the BEST hero(es). The reading was a little heavy for the students, but with explanation, understandable. Song is optional.
