FAMILY - ANALYSING CAT STEVEN´S SONG
This worksheet is didvided into 3 sections: The students listen to the song and fill in the blanks with the missing verb, then they answer interpretation question on it. I advise you to analyse the lyrics stanza by stanza before answering the questions, specially if they are too young. The 3rd task consists in describing the last picture and compare it to the content of the song - how far is it appropriate? How far is it ideal? Some information on the singer can also be provided mentioning, for example, Cat Steven´s father owned a restaurant and wanted his son to work in there. But Cat Stevens always dreamt of becoming a singer. Hope you enjoy as much as my students did.
