Mr. Bean Takes an Exam - Cheating
I have a PowerPoint that, yet again, doesnīt fit on this site for uploading. Basically I start with whatīs on the first page, right-hand side, by talking about its creation and history with Rowan Atkinson, the TV program style, his comedy style, etc. I hand out the worksheet and go through the questions so students understand. Then I have them watch the clip once without sound to see if they understand the humour at all. After the first clip I ask for opinions about the humour and whether they found it funny or not, with reasons.
Then I give a second viewing with the sound and they finish the worksheet. We figure out what happened at the end with Mr. Bean choosing the wrong exam, how he chose to solve his problem and how he couldīve chose to solve his problem differently. Finally we go through the worksheet for answers and continue with general discussion about cheating. The rest is up to you.
