This activity is in the style of Carolyn Grahamīs Jazz Chants but is my own creation. Itīs really great for fluency and can really liven up a class and give beginner students more confidence. Have everyone stand up and clap with you. Make sure to keep a steady beat and clap on the bold syllables. Practice before you teach!
