Mini Book: A Big Bed in colour and greyscale
This is my first effort at a mini book, I was inspired to create it when I used one of Julia�s great mini books (http://www.eslprintables.com/printable.asp?id=431895#thetop) in my classroom. The children really enjoyed making and reading their books. I wrote today�s story about 5 years ago but I rarely use it in class. Now with the mini book I can use this story with some of my younger pupils. Notice that this story uses only phonically regular words, 5 short vowels and the consonants b, c, d, g, n and t. For reading comprehension interact with the children like this: What colour is the bed?

Show me the (dog).
Point to a gagegg. And suchlike.
