Students have to watch the trailer for the 1999 British film, East is East : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yfoqUY0KwfQ Then they answer a general observation questionnaire and do a gap exercise on some passages of the soundtrack. This comedy shows the problems of integration of 2nd generation Pakistanis in Britain in the 1970s. The grading scale is aimed at French students but can be easily removed if needs be.
