Mini Book 5: A Man Can in colour and greyscale worksheet

This is an adaptation of a story I wrote in 2005. This story uses only phonically regular words, 5 short vowels and a limited number of consonants. For reading comprehension interact with the children like this: What is the man doing? Can you�? Can (an elephant) �? Show me the (magnet)? And suchlike. You can ask the children about their own abilities and tell them about yours. You can also ask questions like Who wrote the story? and When was it written? Have them read the sentence, draw the picture and trace over the lines. More info inside.
