How the Grinch stole Christmas
My 7th grade students asked whether they couldnīt watch "How the Grinch stole Christmas" in our last week before Christmas break. So I decided to grant their wish and conjure up tasks to work with the film.
I made 5 tasks which I will shrink from A4 to A5 with our photocopying machine. I intend to put all tasks in an envelope and before, during, and after the film, I will ask them to pull out a task for each sections to solve and paste in their notebook after completed.
The reason I want to put the tasks in an envelope is that I donīt want them to do it while watching. Sometimes if I give them worksheets while watching I notice they are more focused on their worksheets than what is going on on the screen.
This worksheet lacks final discussions which I personally intend to just make up as I go alon observing the kids at work.
