Thanksgiving
I wrote a list of the words on the board and had students write them in. You can pick what you want, but I chose: family, friends, love, autumn, Happy Thanksgiving, dinner, giving, pumpkins, turkey, relax
For my English class where it would be way above their heads to explain about the pilgrims, mayflower, etc.
I had them draw the turkey hand on the back and write something they´re thankful for on each finger.
