Christmas Eve and other stories - A combined listening and reading Christmas lesson - Trans-Siberian Orchestra
This is a combined Listening and Reading lesson for Christmas time. My favourite band, the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, tells a beautiful Christmas story, which I have adapted to practise reading skills (short answers and sequencing) and listening (error spotting and gap-filling); but mainly it is heart-warming and simply beautiful. The story never fails to grip you, and the speaker´s voice is easy to understand and forceful. The link to the files is provided, and so is the key to all the exercises.
