Mini Book 8: Mad, Sad and Glad in colour and greyscale worksheet

This is an adaptation of a story I wrote in 2007. This story uses only phonically regular words, 5 short vowels and a limited number of consonants as well as the word “of�. For reading comprehension interact with the children like this: Who is (sad)? Why is (Ben) (angry)? Do you like school trips? What makes you (glad)? And suchlike. You may use L1 if it helps you better interact. It’s a good story for expressing emotions such as sadness, anger and happiness. Children can draw their own smiley faces and label them or a mad, sad or glad scene.
