Create Your Own Offbeat Hotel
This is a simple, yet effective organizer that helps students dream up their own offbeat hotels, and then present them to the class. I created it after doing a reading with my class about offbeat hotels from around the world.
The first sheet contains a list of guiding questions, and a space for students to draw a picture.
While each group presents its hotel to the class, the audience can use the second page to take notes. This helps ensure that they practice listening to one another, and not just speaking.
