Sports-related collocations
- Cut the sheets up into cards.
- Put students into groups of 3 or 4.
- Deal out the black cards to the students.
- Lay down the blue cards on the table in a grid.
- Students take turns flipping one of the cards on the table, then try to make a collocation with one of the cards in their hand. If they succeed they keep both cards, if not, the flip the blue card back over and itīs the next studentīs turn.
- the game goes until the first student gets rid of all their cards.
