Synonymous Adjective Bingo
An effective way of expanding basic vocabulary. Cut out the cards and the word slips. Handout the cards to the students and place the word-slips in a cup. Take one slip out at a time and read aloud. Students say the synonym of the adjective you said while those that have it cross it off the card. First one to cross off al words shouts bingo. To back this up you can say sentences using one of the adjectives and the replace the adjectives with synonyms.
