Grammar at Christmas
A worksheet to talk about Christmas using present perfect and present perfect continuous. Begins with an exercise on gerrunds with Verbs of perception and the practice using the past tense with the modal verb might. Then there is an exercise revising word order with present perfect and just, yet and already. Then I use the last section as a speaking exercise and get the students to ask their partner the questions and fill their answers, then get them to report back to the class speaking in 3rd person about their friend. Before doing this make sure you quickly revise the difference between 1st and 2nd person I havenīt you havenīt and 3rd person He/She hasnīt.
