A trip to the country
The teacher should first introduce the new words to the students, e.g. by using flashcards. Then he should act out the dialogue twice in front ot the class and stress the new words by using gestures and mimics. It is then up to the students to reconstruct the dialogue word by word, the teacher helps them out with mimics and gestures to remind them if they get stuck and he writes the dialogue on the board. When the whole dialogue is reconstructed, the teacher makes the class repeat it several times as a chorus (he can take erase the new words with a sponge). After that the students practise the dialogue in pairs before they play the dialogue in front of the class. At the end of the lesson the students get the worksheet in order to write the new words. This is a very good and entertaining method to introduce new vocabulary.
