When was the last time you …?: Rules
o In each group: 3 or 4 counters
1 dice
1 gameboard
o Instructions:
Each player casts the dice; the highest plays the first.
Go along the board. Roll the dice and move accordingly.
When you land on a question square, ask a question to one of your partners. He/she writes his/her answer on another sheet (do not forget to write your name, your form and the date). Use past time expressions.
Example: Question = “When was the last time you bought some jeans?”
Answer = “About a month ago – I bought some jeans”
Do not forget to use the past simple tense, both in questions and answers!!!
When your partner answers a question, check if what he says is correct ( ! regular-irregular verbs). If it’s not, correct your partner.
If you make a mistake, you miss one turn.
The winner is the student who lands on the “Finish” square first.
