HALLELUJAH AND FREE HUGS
Activity developed by teacher Marcelo Maciel de Almeida that can be used in the first class as a way of welcoming back students. You can show students the youtube vídeo on http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4L24x5DaDog (Free Hugs). Then, after doing these tasks, you may ask students to introduce and greet themselves. Ask them what they think about the vídeo, what they would do if they see people asking for hugs, etc.
It consists of four tasks including lyrics completion, past simple and past participle verb completion and Use of English (open cloze text)
