Family Tree warmer- Pre Int
A warmer I use for Pre-Intermediate for the lesson after teaching family vocab. I cut up the information on page 2 (same information written down 2 times, be careful!), and add out pieces of info bit by bit. I guess I usually give out about 6 pieces at the start and then as the students fill in the family tree, give them more bit by bit. Depending on the order the info is given out, some of it doesnīt add any extra info, but checks what the students have already done. Itīs not just language skills, but also logic, so good for students who perhaps arenīt so confident in their language skills! I tend to make it into a competition and the students generally have fun! You could also give out a family tree to each student and one piece of info to each and get them to walk around and ask questions, or stick the info on the wall.
