Creating an Oral History
Iīm planning to have my students record oral histories, i.e., either their own story or a family memberīs story. (Normally, this would be done in the form of an interview, but Iīm going to have them use a storytelling style instead.) This handout introduces "oral history"--what it is, what questions to answer in order to tell one, and how to begin the story.
