A few facts about Freaks and Freak Shows : Reading Comprehension
These worksheets contain reading comprehension activities about the topic " freaks". I have divided the Reading activities into 4 separate sections so that students can learn different aspects of this topic in small groups.The class should be divided into 4 groups to complete the tasks on their activity card.The first activity card should be given to students who have difficulties with English, and number 4 to the ones who have a good level. Activity cards 2 and 3 can be completed by students who are " in between´. After completing their activity card, each group/ team reports to the other groups/ teams about their findings and students take notes. The follow up activity consists in reading about famous freaks on page 2 and choosing one of them as their favourite one and explaining why and how they feel about the character´s story.
