Generation Gap Lexical table Lesson 1 part b
This the first lesson on the topic "Generation gap" I´ve created for my Ss who wanted to act the play out but I wasn´t sure if they were ready to discuss the problems of the play because of limited vocabulary and grammar.That´s why I created some lessons for them t be ready for acting the story out. In Lesson 1 students learn about 50 words and phrases, read the text and fill in the blanks with the words they´ve learnt, give a piece of advice to a friend and have a discussion on the problem.In lesson 2 they learn grammar and continue their discussion on the theme of the play. The rest of the lessons prepare Ss for the performance.
I usually use this lexical table to present the new words and phrases. In coloumn 1 of every box I usually type the words and phrases in Russian. It works very well with the students because they can use the new words and pharases in the discussion from the first minutes of the lesson.
