Pronunciation Practice
Pronunciation practice worksheet. Answers provided. Teacher reads out 1 word from each group of 4 similar-sounding words listed, and students circle the word they hear. Then, from the 9 words circled, they are to arrange them to make a complete sentence. Then, for extra practice, 2 sentences are given containing many sounds that are difficult for Japanese students to pronounce. Finally, tongue twisters are added for extra pronunciation practice. Have an in-class contest! Have used this plan as a successful lesson warm-up activity.
