Mystery Quiz Class Activity: Conversation
OK so this is pretty cool :-) Bob is a mystery guy, ask a student to come up and draw a boy on the board. Name him Bob, and tell students that their mission is to find out information about Bob. There are 6 pieces of info - his fave subject, club activity, club days of the week, how he comes to school, fave music and fave sport. His answers are very cool. There are 6 types of handouts - each student gets ONE. Each type has 1 different piece of info, so if students have the answer they give it, otherwise answer "Iīm sorry but I donīt know" and then move onto someone else. Each pair gets to ask each other just 1 question, and then find someone else to ask. That way students get talking to many people. Students are to try and be the first to collect all 6 pieces of info about Bob. Once done, they can return to their seats and you can then end the activity. Students must also write down the answers to the questions in full sentences at the bottom of the worksheet. You could then lead onto a lesson about such topics, and have students make their own profile and ask each other similar questions. A fun and interesting lesson :-) You need at least 6 students to make this work, unless you take out a piece of info. Works in schools, convo classes, etc. Can modify questions/profile to suit topic of study. 6 pages.
