Where´s Barney
This is a short story I made up to revise opposites, students should already be familiar with the opposites before reading it also make sure they know in/out and inside/outside. The question at the end allows them to practice using because for explanation as well. Barney is swimming in the river because he is not out for a walk, he is not in his kennel, he can jump the fence and he always comes home wet. Or where ever else the children can imagine him to be as long as they give a reason.
