Delicious Restaurant
This is a menu designed for students to role play being in a restaurant. What I have done is put the students into groups of 4 or 5. Together we go over the menu and I answe any questions about the menu that they might not understand. Then I have them choose one student out of the group that will be the server. I call the servers to the front of class and explain to them their job. They will be taking the food orders of their classmates. I tell them that I am the boss and that I will be walking around, checking on their service. I give each student the order form and have them fill out the order form for each guest. When they have finished taking the order, they should repeat the order back to their classmates to make sure that they got the order correct. After that I have them pretent to bring food out to their classmates, do a food quality check (How are your meals today?) and finally total up the bills and give them to each of their guests (classmates). I walk around and listen to the students, help them if they have some problems with the menu, and also cause some interesting problems (I usually fire one of my employees for a laught) Anyhow, hope this works for you - worked great for me!
