In this activity children have to order the cards to make sentences. They are coloured coded to help them. Then, nouns are in blue, verbs in yellow and adjectives in green. You can either change the words or the shapes of the cards. Children work in small groups. I put the cards of each sentence in different envelopes. After pupils finish ordering the cards they write the sentences in their notebooks. Sentences taken from "The Enormous Turnip" Oxford Classic Tales, but you can do it with any book you like.
