To Be Past & Present Tenses: Affirmative, Negative & Interrogative. Sentence Building with Focus on Subject-Verb Agreement with Subjects that are Nouns (Not Pronouns)
Doing a simple revision of be verb, I noticed that some of my students have trouble with subject-verb agreement when the subject is a noun rather than a pronoun. So this worksheet incorporates that with continued revision of to be. First students build sentences and match to the pictures. Then they are asked to make both affirmative and negative sentences about themselves and, finally, to ask their teacher some questions. I´m going to try to encourage them to use noun subjects for this part, too. It may be useful for some of you if your students have trouble in this area. Have a nice Thursday. Love to all. Julia
