Students work in pairs. Student A receives the information about the Republicans, Student B has the information about the Democrats. First each student learns about his/her party. After that he repports what he has learned. The other student takes notes in the chart provided. The period can be ended with a group debate about polemic issues like stand on abortion, gay marriage or death penalty. Students have to defend their partyīs position in the discussion.
