RABBIT,ELEPHANT,SNAIL, CATERPILLAR.... ESL KINDERGARTEN Students with special needs
Students trace the words and colour the pictitures.THESE ACTIVITY CARDS/flashcards are in B&W to save ink and because children will colour them, describing the colours they used. The teacher reads the name of each animal and children repeat it several times, using different kinds of voice (it’ funny). Then they join the dots to write the names of the animals. The teacher print a WS for each child and asks:” Show me …the snail/the tiger/the mouse…”. Finally students say which is the animal they prefer. You may also invent a story using these animals; it could be an interactive story too... Another game: a student makes the noise or mimes one of the animals and the other ones have to guess the English name of it. Have fun!
Other similar WS are available among "My printables " in ESL printables. Hugs
