Bingo - Elementary Review
This game can be used with beginners to review: the alphabet, spelling, basic vocabulary and simple answers. You can: spell the words, say the words (if it´s a number), ask questions (e.g.,students have to answer them) and ask for similar sentences (The cats are out - They are out) .
For instance, teacher says: "Letter e"… "number 13"... "question Where are you from?" . Let students know they must pay attention because there might be more than one correct option (e.g. for the question Where are you from? both : "I´m from Australia" and "We´re from China" are correct. Practice with them before you start the game. If you have a computer, you can prepare a ppp to show them how it works. Use the table below as a guide. Encourage them to shout the answers (e.g T: What time is it? - S: It´s five o´clock!). Contents: There are sixteen different cards.
