Exercise of Articles - A , An , The or ( X)
This Exercise contains 300 gaps to fill in. It aims at learning the basic rules of Articles - A , An, The. In addition, the students will have to put a cross where no article is needed. This feature indirectly evaluates students´ ability of recognizing different parts of speech. Without proper knowledge of parts of speech, students will not be able to find out the gaps which do not require any Article. So before going to this, the teachers should discuss the parts of speech which do not take Article before them and the places of a sentence where no Article is used. It may be used for class test, mid - term test, or final exam , and even for group work. In group work, The students will be asked to fill in the gaps and to write down the rules which are used in each gap.
