This is a very interesting video about replacing asphalt roads with solar panels made of GLASS in order to generate enough electricity to supply the whole United States and most of the world. It should really interest science and engineering students. This worksheet has 1 page of vocabulary and 1 page of listening comprehension and discussion questions, plus a transcript that I made on page 3. You can find the video on 2 sites--

There are different ways that this video can be used in class. One way that is a bit original would be to have half the class watch the video with NO sound while the other half LISTENS to the audio narration twice in another room. The students then come together and work in pairs discussing what they have seen or heard. Then distribute pages 1 and 2 the worksheet.
