Each sheet contains a different "Dear Abby"-style letter describing a problem. In groups, students are to write a response to the letter they have. Depending on the level of the students, introduction to the vocabulary in the letters may be necessary. The activity enables students to think about habits and politeness; it also gives them practice using the modal phrase "You should . . ."
