present perfect versus past tense present perfect versus past tense

In this worksheet, the pupils make exercises on the different uses of the present perfect and the past tense. The introductory exercise is about Helmut Lotti (a Belgian singer whose voice resembles Elvis´ voice) and Elvis Presley. This exercise illustrates one use of the present perfect and past tense: a period that started in the past and continues up to now (Helmut Lotti´s life and career) versus a period that is completely over (Elvis´ life and career).
