Family Portrait song by P!nk
I work with this song for several reasons: 1. I use it as a listening: Both, pronunciation and enunciation are very clear so that it is relatively easy for students. 2. It talks about a moral and problematic subject: Family problems. It can lead to a debate whether children are responsible or not for the parents´ problems (the song is about that, the child feels it has been her problem) and then we could start talking about different types of families. I have done it in my lessons and students feel involved in the song and the speaking afterwards.
